Mission Statement
Villa Chardonnay, Horses with Wings sanctuary is dedicated to the compassionate care of animals, primarily horses. We provide love, a home and critical care for abused, neglected, slaughter bound and/or abandoned creatures. By utilizing our horses for equine health assisted programs we improve both human and equine lives. Our ultimate goal is to improve animal rights, eliminate abusive training and be the voice for those who cannot speak.

Monika Kerber
Monika is the president of Villa Chardonnay, Horses with Wings. She is a long time horse and animal lover and has been riding English for the past 25 years. Monika saved her first horse about 20 years ago when she rescued a thoroughbred horse from the slaughter.
Monika has been loving horses and all animals who whole life and is a firm supporter of ASPC and PETA among others. Monika has dreamed of making a home for horses, saving them and most important, just giving them love. Her heart is so big that there is always room for more horses. She is finally in a position where she can make her dream of having a horse rescue come true! To email Monika click here
Louise Gardner
Louise is the Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Villa Chardonnay. Louise has also been riding since she was young and has always had a love for animals and horses. The first horse she owned didn’t come until later in life. Louise really enjoys taking care of the horses in all ways, from riding them, cleaning up after them (yes!) and feeding them carrots! Louise has a nurturing nature and wants to take care of all the fur babies; horses, dogs, goats and any four legged creature. To email Louise click here
