Horse Killers- Help save these beautiful creatures from this horrible end! With your help we can continue to rescue more!
They call them “horse killers” they are semi trucks filled with horses going over the border to Mexico where you can kill them legally. The horse killers do not have anything in mind but money and getting their rig to Mexico with minimal damage to their truck. Each horse is worth about $800 to them; and they are sold as meat to the primarily Far East.
The torture comes with the travels in the trucks. To keep a horse calm in a cramped truck for days of travel is nearly impossible.
They fall down and get trampled to death
The killer drivers cut their eyes out, which ulitimately calms them down when they can no longer see
If they fall down, they typically break a leg and cannot get up
They do not provide food or water
These trucks drive within a couple miles of Villa Chardonnay each week and we are raising funds to purchase a truck- or as many horses as we can save and bring them to the peace of Villa Chardonnay - Together we can do it!
Save a life today!
