Equine Surrender
We understand the difficult choice of deciding to surrender your equine. There are many circumstances that make keeping your equine impossible and we understand your issues and concerns. Surrendering your horse to Villa Chardonnay will ensure that your equine has the best possible chance at a long and healthy life. We will gladly accept any surrendered equine with a $400 donation to help care for its needs, under special circumstances the $400 fee may be waived or reduced. All surrenders are confidential.
You must transport the equine to Villa Chardonnay or pay for the transportation cost. We gladly transport for $1 a mile round trip.
You will be given a tax deductible receipt for the $400 donation.
Surrendered equine must be current on all vaccinations (a copy of the vet paperwork showing last vaccination is required.) If equine is not up to date on vaccinations, there is a $100 vaccination fee which must be paid for vaccinating the equine before it is surrendered.
We do reserve the right to refuse to accept any horse that you are wishing to surrender.
